I forgot how good BAMBI was/is!
When I was having weeks of medical treatment, I wanted a few Disney cartoons to lift my spirits (yes, I also love Pixar films and watched them too). I always appreciated the art of the Disney studios, but this film (and LADY & THE TRAMP) brought home to me just how much I had forgotten. These films (like Pixar) are works of art. A wonderful story told with breathtaking beauty!

A marvellous film
My wife & I enjoyed this wonderful film so much -we saw it twice- that I ordered it for an American friend. Zeffirelli has directed many good films, but to me, this was his best. A very realistic film, shot mostly in Florence (and some in the Uffizi Gallery) with realistic dialogue (not that easy for drama). A great human story.
If you've been to Florence, then you must get this DVD. My only regret is that this film -with an all-star cast- isn't available on Blu-Ray. It deserves the best! Wake up, MGM!!

A very impressive series which didn't disappoint in any aspect!
I loved my copy and my friend in America was just as impressed with the copy that I bought for him. The acting was first-rate through out the series. The very high production were very impressive. I don't see how the series could've better!
