Great for surgeries
I have bad knees from playing competitive sports (Catcher fast pitch softball) until I was 40 years old. At 40 I had my first knee surgery and did not have a polar care. After about my 3rd surgery on the same knee I learned of polar care and we purchased one. I have used it for multiple surgeries, my mother used it, my niece used it and my spouse has used it for multiple surgeries. It keep constant cool water flowing across your surgical part and keeps the swelling down.
I would highly recommend it for anybody have knee, hip, shoulder surgery. It really does reduce swelling and that helps with pain control.
After all my surgeries and those of other family members, my machine finally gave up and I immediately purchased this one for my total knee.
No negatives.

Fun & Useful Gadget
Love this - so many things you can do with this to make cutting things more accurate.
