Excellent Well Built Mic
This is an excellent, quality, well built microphone. What you come to expect from Motorola. The audio quality is crystal clear as well as the transmit side of it. According to signal reports I have received. I especially like being able to change channels from the mic and adjust volume as well. The man down feature on the mic is also a huge plus if your a first responder, very easy to manipulate. Very solid and positive click adjustments. Overall this mic is hands down the best shoulder mic I've ever owned, I should know, I have over 27 years in law enforcement and dispatch comm experience.

Unbeatable Motorola Quality
The antenna can be used for any MT/MTS1000,2000, XTS 2500,3000,5000 and Astro Saber radios. Very well built antenna and it is longer than the typical heliflex antennas for the 403-470 UHF band. I havent taken a ruler to it yet but I believe it is about 6 inches possibly slightly longer . Compared to my work radios (Motorola XTS 5000 800Mhz UHF) it is about 1/2 an inch shorter than the XTS 5000 antennas. I noticed an improved receive signal the moment I put it on. I was able to "hit" a local repeater that I normally have problems with (scratchiness, hash etc...) however, it not only broke the squelch but the other station receiving it advised that it was full quiet no noise at all. I think I'll probably switch to this antenna for all of my Motorola radios. I will get my HAM buddy to put it on an antenna analyzer and SWR meter and see what kind of resonance & SWR numbers we are getting. Overall, a great antenna you won't be disappointed.

Very Well Put Together Quality CB Mic

It fits the hand very nicely and has a good heft to it, not like the cheap light weight "plasticky feel" like other mics out there. It also has a rubber like lip/mouth guard surrounding the metal mic grill not just one half crescent shaped strip at the top like some mics. The mic, according to recordings I have done, sounds louder than most other noise cancelling microphones almost like a power mic. It does tend to sound just a bit bassy but not enough IMHO to be of much concern. Overall this is a very well made and AWESOME sounding mic and for around 20 bucks or so brand new, you can't beat it! BUY ONE! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!
