A CHRONIC CASE OF COMEDY
This movie is an absolute hoot from beginning to end. I took this movie to a friends house for our after Thanksgiving entertainment and even though I had seen it before I laughed just as hard watching it again. Brilliant, captivating and I will watch it again and again. Lots of unexpected twists and turns and an all star cast.......what more can you ask for? It was a wonderful way to end a great holiday meal and left me wishing there would be a sequel. My friend loved the movie as well and said he would watch it again. Suspense,mystery, murder, blackmail, betrayal and lots of laughs.....don't pass this one up. Grab a friend on a rainy night get some pizza and be prepared to be taken through a maze of mayhem nd merriment.

Average features and function. Nothing outstanding.
While the sound quality is average, the range is not very long and keeps dropping out as I move around to different spots in my house. It's a good thing the ear buds are connected by a flex wire because they keep falling out of my ears regardless of the size buds I use but they are comfortable. And very lightweight.

I bought this movie Mesmerized, because two of my favorite actors are in it and it was to be our entertainment after our Thanksgiving meal.I had never even heard of it. I thought a movie with Jodie Foster and John Lithgow would certainly be nothing less than captivating given the exaggerated synopsis on the dvd cover. What a mess that movie was. The only thing I was mesmerized by was the light on the blu ray player. I can see where they both did their level best with what they had but it was torture sitting through it. My mind was wandering...mostly about Silence of The Lambs and Riccochet...wishing I was watching one of those instead. I was begging my friend to end the movie and watch something else but the promise of "edge of your seat suspense" made him think that something exciting was coming and I kept praying that it was the end that was coming soon. The only reason I was on the edge of my seat was to go eject the movie from the Bluray player. Needless to say, it was shameful and embarassing to see two marvelously talented actors , even though it was from 1986, be produced and directed in this monsterpiece (ooops). Well, that's the way I see it and I hope no one else has to see it, unless you just have a morbid curiosity. In conclusion..........I wasn't giving any thanksgiving for Mesmerized and all I can say is you would need more than sorbet to get the taste of this moive out of your mouth. Watch at your own risk...severe boredom.
