SafeGuard Soap
4 of 4 found this helpful I purchased this only because I thought it was the older, now discontinued "antibacterial" version. Turns out, this is the exact same stuff I can buy at any local supermarket or drugstore. Yes, I realize all soap is antibacterial. Still, I thought this was the one containing triclosan. It isn't. It still lathers up well and had a mild, pleasing clean scent. It's as good as any mass produced soap in America. It no longer has anything that sets it apart though from other options in my opinion. Thanks, FDA.

Greek olive oil based soap
Lathers up very well and seems to be quite gentle and moisturizing. Daughter says it seems to be decreasing the signs and symptoms of her mild eczema. The bars of soap I purchased are very large and don't seem to be melting away too quickly. My daughter said, it has a a smell similar to combination of a rubber inner tube and gasoline. I wouldn't go that far, but it does have a slightly unpleasant odor when you first open the package of soap. I do not feel like leaves much of any scent at all on my skin though. My skin doesn't itch at all, and that's a positive. So the mildness and the really good lather rate 4 stars for me. Only detracted one star due to the scent which isn't exactly pleasant yet doesn't linger on your skin at all after rinsing. Try it; you might like it.
