Not your typical Amish story
This isn't your typical Amish story. The plot is very interesting and the characters relatable. One small editing problem, though: Ben, Annie's beau, spent some time at his parents' home, and his bedroom moved from upstairs to the basement and back upstairs. In the second book, Louisa's cat Muffin was male, then female, then male. Oops. Still a great series, though!

Uncommonly good pattern book
I liked this book well enough to purchase this one as a replacement for my first copy that went missing. The patterns are clear, as are the instructions and photos of the finished pieces. I'm really looking forward to creating some cute woodland animals.
