Works perfectly
I was skeptical buying this. Some of the reviews I read for cheaper versions of this adapter said it didn’t transmit sound. I skipped those knock offs and bought this oem part. I can use my iPhone on an older iPod dock connected to my stereo. No more aux line in and power cord.

Looks better in person than online. High quality metal. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that the screws are painted and simply installing the screws caused some of the brown paint to chip off the screw head, which is just a plain metal screw underneath.
