Comfort Zone CZ499R Ceramic Oscillating Digital Tower Heater with Remote

Very short life span.

I purchased two of these about 3 months ago after reading good reviews on various sites, and the price was right. My goal was to use a couple days a week during the winter months, when my grandchildren were napping. So each has had less than 20 hours use. Today, one puts out cold air only, no heat. The other no longer oscillates, makes an odd sound with a chemical odor. Perhaps these are refurbished? I’ve past the return window....so disappointed.
