good bush hammer
I am very experienced using tools including hammers, but not bush hammers. This hammer arrived in great condition, and I have used it to remove high areas on a pretty hard stone that I am turning into a hone. There is no apparent wear, and the faces seem to have a good bite. I wish it had a face with closer spaced teeth to compliment the rough work done, but that would cut the life of the hammer in half, effectively, so it's not a detriment as it is. I like the hammer, because it is effective at brutally removing stone material. This thing could do some serious industrial meat tenderizing.

Great sound, volume, and attenuation for drumming
I purchased the HD280 Pros primarily so that I could hear music and click tracks while drumming. Other good but open backed phones failed for this purpose, but the HD280s get it done with volume to spare.
I have shooting muffs that don't attenuate drum sounds as well as the Sennheisers. I like the sound quality too.
I am careful not to spread the ear pieces out when putting them on, just sliding them on instead, because it looks like the plastic pivoting structure could fail if stressed too much over time. I would hate to lose these headphones. I have several others that don't come close in performance.
