Great Buyer!! Unfortunately the Post Office lost this item and was never recovered but we communicated and he was so gracious for me to refund his money after waiting patiently to see if it would ever be found

Sunix 4pcs/10pcs 5W GY6.35 COB LED Crystal Bulb AC DC 12V Replace Halogen Light
    May 30, 2018
    The Fine Print
I like almost everything about this product. It is not, though, an exact replacement for a halogen bulb. It’s not “the same, only LED” providing cool longevity. I’m using the bulbs in a swing arm desk lamp. I looked forward to having light that was not hot to the touch. This bulb provides that. What it does not provide are the warmer light spectrum. And the stepped intensity built into the lamp. This bulb is either on or off. If your lamp has a high-low switch, both settings will give the same illumination.
ARRIS SURFboard SB6183 DOCSIS 3.0 Modem (Certified Refurbished)

    Snap these up!
Unless you like to know you've bought something "new" this refurbished item could be right for you. The price is a fraction of the new product. Mine came in its original box but that's probably not guaranteed to happen. I was reassured that the unit is certified to be up to OEM standards and it's worked flawlessly for me, albeit for only a short time since installation. I bought this modem because it was on the Cox recommended list (Google: cox approved cable modems). Cox is our local least-favorite internet provider but it has the monopoly on cable services so we complain in vain. Calling Cox about frequent service outages usually degraded to a hardware/software scrum where everything from their side "looks good." The one intangible issue was that I continued to use an older Cox modem with the DOCIS 2.0 protocol so I decided to take that out of the equation. I looked for a newer DOCIS 3.0 modem. Setup was pretty easy but I did have to call Cox so they could register the MAC ID and Serial Number of the device on my account. Both numbers are on a label on the device. Then the usual [1] Power everything down, [2] Power on the modem until all its lights are full on [no blinking], [3] Power on the wireless router until it has run through its startup diagnostics [again, full green light on Apple Time Capsule], [4] Power on the computer. Still occasional internet outages and it could be my imagination they are less frequent than before. No perceptible increase in speed but no side-by-side comparison with prior DOCIS 2.0 modem possible. I feel good about the purchase, though.

    Google Wi-Fi System - 3 Piece
    Sep 26, 2018
Probably works for many situations, but not for all situations
I bought this item on the strength of a NYT review that said Mesh WiFi is the future; if you don't have one now, you will. Good enough then. My 2600 sq. ft. house has been difficult to cover with WiFi using multiple Apple Airport Extremes (4) and Expresses (4). Part of the problems were (1) a detached guesthouse 60' away, (2) two access points dedicated to wired speakers in the house & garden, and (3) the 87-year old house with thick plaster walls and plenty of iron nails in the lath. I had hopes the mesh technology would solve some of the problems. It does not. My results of installing the Google WiFi system have been mixed. The hardware is simple and sleek; no problem having an unobtrusive unit visible on the top corner of a bookshelf. Each unit's range, however, remains a problem. The software is straightforward for the simple installation but maddening if you run into problems. You get tired of waiting for the results of the mesh test only to be told again to move the units closer together. Customer support is excellent. No, make that EXCELLENT! I know support techs face calls from a lot of naive customers who really just need some handholding. I'm not one of them. I call support for the hard questions; I've already answered the easy ones. A few days (and one prior call to support) into my new system, I called again. By this time I had 4 Google WiFi devices and still no luck getting them to recognize each other consistently. Most readers will understand the dilemma: when something goes wrong you never know if it's you (user error) or the software, or not enough time given to reset or a hardware problem. You're really in the dark. Customer support knows what should be happening, how long that should take, when to restart the app, when to reboot the system, etc. The support tech - Russell in the Philippines, if you need to know - spent 1.5 hours with me working through it all. And he called the next day to check on how it was working. Here's the end result. It's complicated. There may be better mesh systems out there for people with my needs, or yours. Google says the range of their WiFi units is 25 feet; not clear if that's a radius or diameter. Math geeks will get the substantial significance of that difference. My WiFi signal is better in the house than before with the Apple system; Google allows me to use a previously laid ethernet cable between two WiFi points (wired WiFi points with the older Apple system created signal interference and became unworkable). The in-house coverage is not as good as I expected from the Google promotional material. Coverage does NOT extend to the detached guesthouse. For that I cabled a Google WiFi to an Airport Extreme (see image) and put a 2nd Airport Extreme in the guesthouse. (Trying to reach the guesthouse with Google WiFi on each had failed due to distance.) Signal in the guesthouse now is the same as with the prior all-Airport system. My 2 wired external speaker systems are connected by ethernet cable from Google WiFi to Airport Express (1 set) and wirelessly from the Airport Extreme to Airport Express (the other set, see image. That yellow CAT6 cable connects the Google WiFi to Airport Extreme). If you've read through this whole review, you know my system has peculiarities you might not face. But the basic message is this: Google WiFi seems a good system for simple layouts. As good (and inexpensive) as it is, it may not solve all your WiFi problems.
