    Dial M for Murder [DVD]
    Apr 21, 2022
    We all love the accused
This movie was adapted from a stage play and most of the action takes place in one room. But - you would never be bored with it - the characters and the situations completely hold your attention. It all centers about a key. Where is the real key that opened the apartment on the night of the murder.? This is Hitchcock at his best.

I would buy this product again on ebay.
This is the razor that gives me the best and most comfortable shave. And it was a good price.
The White Cockatoo [New DVD] Full Frame, Mono Sound

A fun movie that makes a lot of sense
This is a very stylish 1934 Warner Bros. movie that held my attention without any effort at all. Ricardo Cortez is definitely into the part and really tries to help Jean Muir with her problem. That is, her identity must be proved to a long-lost brother in order for her to receive a handsome inheritance following the death of her father (who she hasn't seen since she was a child). Of course her brother, who doesn't seem to have appeared in the film until much later, must prove his identity also. A couple of murders take place and we can't seem to figure out who is the guilty party (or parties). There is a beautiful well-trained white cockatoo in the film. It is fun to watch, but this bird doesn't seem to have anything to do with the solution of the crimes. Jean Muir plays a double part in one brief scene and the camera work (and off-screen spicing) are seamless. This really impressed me for the technology that was, or was not, there in 1934. We also have a good ending.
