As smooth as most in a gym
3 of 3 found this helpful This is the second piece of Body-Solid refurbished equipment that I have purchased. The first being the Smith Machine. In both instances the machines came in brand new condition. Body-Solid will stand behind the equipment for the life of the machine. The leg press hack squat machine is as smooth as it gets, matter of fact it is in better shape than the one that was being used at the commercial gym I use to lift at.
The machine can hold close to 1000 lbs. It really depends on how thick your plates are. Some 45lb plates are bigger than others. Some plates I can put 8 on a side and if I put my thin plates I can get 9. I have four 55lb plates so I can get around 960 lbs on mine.
