Lenovo Legion Pro 7i (Gen 8) RTX 4080
Excellent computer! It was delivered quickly (despite FedEx being a major pain to me as usual). It’s an excellently built device with powerful performance, and it turned out to be pretty premium in overall build despite concerns I initially had about some features being taken out on this 8th gen model compared to the prior 7th gen. All in all, I can see why it’s one of the most popular gaming laptops to a lot of people. It runs fairly quiet even while I’m running AAA games at max settings at native resolution and the audio with Nahimic turned off seems to sound better mixed than in the past. I typically always have it plugged in so I haven’t tested battery life but I’m sure it’s enough for me in the rare instances that I’d be using it without it plugged in. I bought a 32gb dual ram kit and 2TB high speed nvme from Crucial and this thing is insanely fast and performant. Definitely get one of these models and do the same. You won’t regret it!
