Unusual gameplay with an attractive premise.
The game is very atypical for a fighting game, but the gameplay mechanics are deep enough to be compelling in a different way. So far, so good. I'm a little lukewarm. It could be a game I keep in regular rotation for a few years, but it's too early to say whether this will have lasting appeal.

3rd edition Codex Space Marines
This book is outdated and isn't designed for use with the current Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.
It's a great collector's item though! The artwork and color section is all interesting and it includes a gameplay scenario in the back of the book. (the scenario can still be used with the current rules, if minor adaptations are made.)It includes several helpful hobby tips that are useful to players of any army, not just Space Marines!
Anyone who is interested in warhammer 40k's history and anyone who plays casually with friends would be happy with this book.

Old Book
This is a great book. If you want to play with friends, the rules for models in this book will work OK, but they're outdated, and aren't designed for the current edition of the game.
I bought this book for the artwork and short stories; but I would only suggest it to a collector because new material regarding the Tau has since been released.
