    A nice,albeit incomplete,collection
This is a nice, but incomplete, collection that I've had on cassette tape for many years. While the same songs appear on the CD that are on the cassette, the major difference is the cover picture. The CD uses the UK album cover while the cassette and original US album had a portrait of George's face with a space-like background.Since George didn't have as many solo hits as John,Paul and Ringo at the time this album was originally released and since Capitol felt obligated to release a George Harrison greatest hits set after releasing similar sets from the other three Beatles, several of George's Beatles songs are included to flesh out the album. It does, however, omit some worthwhile solo material in favor of those Beatles cuts. For someone who is only vaguely familiar with the recorded output of the late George Harrison this CD works as a decent introduction and nothing more.Since it was released in the mid '70s on Capitol records it doesn't include George's hits from the late '70s and the '80s on his own Dark Horse label. There is a separate Dark Horse anthology, long out of print, and quite pricey. It's really a shame, especially in light of his passing, that there isn't a more thorough, updated collection of George's solo material available on the market. So if you're not looking to spend a lot of money this is what I would recommend.Just keep in mind that it is merely an introduction and nothing more.

A good starting point for the unintiated
I was really pleased with this collection and the price that I paid for it.I already had most of the songs on it on other collections so the real highlight for me was the accompanying DVD of songs performed live, especially the version of "Jive Talkin'".The title of the collection is not entirely accurate because several of the songs featured didn't make the number one position or even the top 10,at least not here in America or in Great Britain.Still,it's a nice introductory collection even if the later material from the '80s suffers a bit in comparison to the better known and better sounding '60s and '70s hits. The Bee Gees' heyday was during the disco era of the '70s,so,naturally,this disc concentrates primarily on those songs. While the DVD contains some remarkable performances at only four songs it seems way too brief and one is left wishing that more performances of hits were included. The disc serves mainly as a tribute to the dear, departed Maurice Gibb and includes a tribute song to him.

A nice collection of pictures for lingerie lovers
I know that I should be telling this to the person who sold it to me,but I was really impressed with the condition of this book considering the low price that I paid for it.Overall, this book presents a nice history of lingerie from the 1800s to the 1980s(when it was published). The photos from the 1800s and the first half of the twentieth century leave a lot to be desired as they are mainly in black & white, which is appropriate to maintain the period setting. While none of the photos are raunchy, some are far sexier than others and for the most part,I'm glad that I added this book to my collection.
