Best steering wheel cover ever
1 of 1 found this helpful They call it 'Old School' because these have been around forever. I've been using them for decades and I still prefer them over anything else. I never understood the popularity of the kind they sell in the big box stores that just stretch over your steering wheel - I think they're terrible. Take your time lacing it up (don't worry, it only takes about 10 - 15 minutes) and you'll really like it.

Looks great and it's accurate
Temp gauge in my '67 Pontiac Le Mans was giving me strange readings, showing extreme high temps even though the engine was not overheating. This gauge shows an accurate reading, taking the guesswork out of it. This purchase allowed me to discover that my mechanic installed the wrong sending unit. This cap looks great too. Highly recommend.

Priciest decals I ever bought, but they're great
I was hesitant to purchase this set of decals simply because of the price. Since I can remember, manufacturers in the automotive industry have often given away decals to customers in the hopes that they would stick them up on their garage wall or, better yet, on their cars. Well, I've just restored a 1967 Pontiac LeMans and I happened upon a great deal for some Hurst-branded wheels to finish off the build. The car is painted in a color that was moderately popular for Pontiac back in the day called Signet Gold. The Hurst wheels are polished aluminum with gold inlay on the spokes. I haven't installed the decals on the car yet as I'm still tweaking a few mechanicals, but I think the gold accent Hurst decals are going to add a really nice touch so I coughed up the exorbitant price and bought a set. I'll try to post another pic when she's finished.
