Icom IC V8000 Radio Transceiver

My "Fave", hands down
1 of 1 found this helpful I either own or am responsible for nearly 20 2 meter mobile transceivers. The Icom V8000 is my favorite!

very attractive
The only downside is the metal that they used. Aluminum would have been better suited for DIY builds with hand tools.

Solid but insensitive
Well made and (seemingly) accurate but rather insensitive as it must almost be in contact with the antenna to get a solid reading.
