This cook-top is absolutely amazing!
This cook-top is absolutely amazing! Very easy to install and worked right out of the box. You will need to add a plug. Read the the details on the listing. There is a learning curve on using and understanding It cooks fast_faster_fastest. The instruction manual is rather cryptic. So I hope this helps you say yes to Induction cooking. I am more than satisfied with this unit. Marvelous product by far. If this is your first Induction cooker, it is a top-of-the-line induction cooker easier to cook on, and does a better job than radiant electric or gas. The surface never gets hotter than the bottom of the pan, and doesn't stay hot very long. Virtually no chance of a fire with induction cooking. This unit is far more powerful than the 120 v 2-burner units you may be comparing. This one is a smart, economical choice. I have never seen water boil so fast.
With induction cooking the magnetic-based technology your enabling delicious homemade meals in a fraction of the time it takes traditional stove-tops. Efficient cooking, healthier meals, and more time aloud to spend with other matters. The reduction in both operating costs and injury risk add up to a smart money / time saving investment. There is a learning curve on using and understanding just how fast cooking can be. Until you become comfortable never abandon the cooking process don't go do something else while food is on the cooking surface.
Max. power output: 3100W__ 2 cooking zone 1850W + 1850W (Shared Power) this unit is a Green Power designed. The Stand-by under 1Watt. Shared Power so the total will only draw up to 3100 watts. Selecting the level of 1 (0 is stand by) to 9 can be adjusted in value from 1 to 17. Each selection number is equal too (2) settings. Push the same number two times the indicator changes the selected number to the same number with a ( dot ) to the right of showing number in the display. Select 4 and touch 4 again second time, now 4 will shows ( 4 . ) four with a dot on the right. However ( 9 ) is only 9. With the cook-top set to ON select the number for cooking, after cooking select 0 turning the burner unit off. After a time of no use the cook-top will shut off as long as no setting are selected. Again there 17 power levels which gives you absolute control over cooking temperature.
Setting the timer for a burner. With the burner in use and set on ( any number ) select the burner in use then select the timer, set the time. To set 18 minutes use 1 an 8, to select 8 minutes use 0 an 8. When the timer counts to 0 the burner will shut off. You can change the power level with the timer set. Cooking on a higher power level and reaching a point where the food is just about ready or you want to cook the food longer at a lower power level. You don't need to reset the timer. Select the burner, change to a lower power level and the timer will stay on for that selected burner. Enjoy
