Much cheaper than breaking a window or kicking in a door.
I bought this with several uses in mind. One being if locked out of the house you can safely and easily store a key to get in.
The main thought is in the event I'd need emergency services and was home alone and couldn't get to the door, I could give them the code to get the keys without having to bust down my door and creating a large expense.
This is a great size an mounted it on the door jam between the front door and storm door. A convenient and weather proof spot.
