Still one of the best
1 of 1 found this helpful These are as good as Hyraxes in most conditions except wet rock. The Hyrax compound does better in wet rock but not that great in the loose stuff like sand or mud. As soon as Hyraxes get packed up with sand or mud they are worthless. These Rock Beasts are still the best all around tire and a great in between size at 4.4 tall. These are not the 4.7 tall XLs.

Bought two, both were defective.
The title says it all. I bought two of these devices and both of them were garbage out of the box. Neither one functioned properly or responded correctly to mode switch inputs. Sent both back for a refund. At almost $100 per unit and for nothing more than flashing LEDs and a tiny speaker that makes squeaking noises, these should be high quality and last a long time. I couldn’t even get them to work when brand new.

Excellent detail for such a small hard body
