exactly as described
I use if for my band... i 100% need the foot pedal.. It it easy to use while playing guitar and singing... It doesn't always go to the exact scene that I'm hoping for right away---but if I wanted special effects like kid rock, I guess I'd have to hire a light person to do them for me... This product is great for my needs/budget.

excellent for intermediate
i have this DVD, but not the book/mag that comes with it. The disc is great for someone who knows chords and has been strumming for awhile but wants to improve their sound/fill ins/overall musicianship (if that's a word). I can imagine it wouldn't be too good for raw beginners who need to learn chords.
