Helps relieve my back pain
Every morning I was waking up with bad back pain. I've read a lot about Far Infrared therapy and decided to try a heating pad to see if it would live up to the hype. This one was pretty expensive but it was the one I kept seeing over and over in recommendations so I decided to go for it. I've really been surprised at how much it has helped. I sometimes leave it on all night, and sometimes I just use it for awhile in the morning before I get out of bed. In addition to the back pain, I've used it to help ease foot pain when my plantar fasciitis flared up and it was helpful when I strained a muscle in my shoulder.
I have concerns about how hard it will be to keep clean. The cover does seem to be removable but I'm not sure how easy it will be to remove and wash it. I might take in a pillow case to fit it and use that as an extra cover. The velcro straps are ok but I sometimes have trouble keeping them in place.
Overall I'm very happy with it and highly recommend it if you have chronic pain.
