The only scanner you'll ever need.
1 of 1 found this helpful Freescan software makes setting up this scanner very easy. Having a radio reference account helped tremendously. After it's loaded it works just like it should. The software allows you to control the scanner without touching a single button. The recording function is really awesome as well. It may seem like I'm just talking mostly about the software but without the scanner working flawlessly with the software this would never be possible. Reception is great.

Fix your internet, Buy it.
1 of 1 found this helpful This system is easy to set up and has excellent performance. I had been searching for a solution to get internet out to my detached garage for the last year or so. I had seen the Orbi system but was hesitant because of the cost. I bought at least four or five smaller range extenders and access points. I even bought xfinitys 'pods'. Those were all a joke. This Orbi AC3000 system is the real deal. I now have the fastest and most range I could ever have asked for. Example, at the corner of my garage with my old system I had around 5Mbs if it would even connect. I now have around 275Mbs with 40Mbs upload. I was able to install a wifi thermostat in the garage finally. I plan on adding the outside router soon and believe it should cover two acres at that point.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
13 of 13 found this helpful I recently bought a 1999 Grand Cherokee. Luckily, I knew what to look for before I bought mine so I was able to weed out the ones that will have more expensive problems in the future.
The best motor/transmission/transfer case combo for this Jeep is the 4.0L Inline 6 cylinder motor paired to the 4-speed Auto with the 231 or 242 transfer cases. The 231 is 2WD-4WD Part Time-Neutral-4 LO. The 242 is 2WD-4WD Part Time-4WD Full Time-Neutral-4 LO. Don't confuse the 242 with the All Time 4WD.
I chose the 4.0L over the V8s because I've changed alot of motors in Jeeps and the 4.0L motors usually only need changed because of high mileage. I've seen alot of premature failures in the V8s, usually because of oiling problems which leads to internal part failures. The oiling problems were not because of lack of maintenance either.
The model I bought was the Laredo. The interior is pretty roomy. I have a small baby and an 8 year old. I can fit the car seat in the middle of the backseat and son can ride next to car seat with plenty of room (and that still leaves another seat availiable). The controls are simple which is nice. The factory stereo plays burnt CDs which is nice, the 2002 wrangler I have will not play burnt discs.
It rides alot better than my regular cherokee and my wrangler. Seems to have better power at take off and on the interstate than either of my other Jeeps too. My wrangler is an 2002 with the same motor but the grand runs much stronger even being 3 years older and with 40k more miles on it.
Overall, I really like this Jeep. It looks good in the driveway. I feel good driving it. I would recommend this Jeep to anyone.
