Is battery working?

Good to hear from you today, of all days. I had the new battery installed by Office Max here in Seattle and it took almost 2 days (as expected) to charge up. It worked well for one day then the battery charge started going down and went dead. I've tried to charge it back up but it won't charge. I have checked with my tech service and the installer and they have no idea what the problem might be. Could you help me with this? I gave negative answers so that this would go through. Thank you.
