Great deal for a telephoto zoom
This lens is great value for the money. The image quality if very good to excellent. While this isn't the fastest lens, the image stabilizer does wonders. I use this lens on my camping and backpacking trips. I don't hesitate to leave my 70-200 2.8L at home when there is sufficient light and don't need the extra speed. The only negatives with the lens are that it is not FTM and it has a rotating front element that makes using circular polarizers difficult.
