Better than expected!
A surprisingly great mini!
Has 2 types of appearance.
1- The normal clear cube that looks like it hasn't ensnared any prey/items.
2- A clear cube with BONES floating around in it!
(And it still has room to fit 1 standard player mini)
I personally don't find any need to paint the outer cube any color because it shows how empty it is.
But the 2nd piece with the bones/swords/other dissolving bits can look as intense as you want!
So much story/character for a basic clear blob.
If you don't want to invest in DIY methods of making a GelatinousCube, this mini is a must own!

Fine for collecting UniversalMonsters merch. Poor story for 1931s Dracula
The product itself seems to have dried overtime from being wet at some point.
Has brown speckles outside the book block pages. (TopEdge and ForeEdge)
But all pages are still intact and legible.
If you are a collector of ClassicUniversalMonster merchandise these books are worth owning.
But if you are a diehard fan of TodBrowning's 1931 Dracula film and are looking for a sequel? This story may disappoint/enrage you.
(Dracula'sDaughter or AbbotandCostellomeetFrankenstein are better follow ups)

How did I not see these at Scholastic Book fair?!
The item itself was stuck to the adhesive packing on the inside so the cover has a gross texture.
But it's still in good condition otherwise. Spine and corners not too creased. And the pages all accounted for.
This was Universals attempt to tap into the Goosebumps market. And I gotta say as a kid that was terrible at reading, if I saw these at my BookFair I would've gotten every single one and tried my hardest to read them.
As an Adult/Fan of the classic films, they are worth collecting and going through and are decent commercials for UniversalStudios....kinda like Disney's KingdomKeepers actually.
