Great for audiophiles

One of the best CDs for audiophiles. Almost every instrument was recorded both in analogue and digital and they then included whichever one happened to suit the song better. The production is exceptional and full range, making it a great choice for getting the EQ on your hi-fi just right. The album is a modern homage to disco and quite a departure from Daft Punk's other work.

It's all in the mind, as I discovered by accident.

I bought this hoping it would eliminate a very small amount of white noise. It didn't - but the audio seemed transformed! More detail, more attack, but slightly less treble. I tweaked the EQ over several days until I had the sound just perfect, but today I realised that the EQ is now set EXACTLY as it was before I bought the unit and yet the treble has been restored. When I plug the amp into the mains, all the attack is still there and the treble sounds the same. As someone very wise once said, if you are listening for difference, you will hear it because your ears will focus on sounds they don't normally focus on. I'd send it back but the dog ripped the bubble wrap.
