SUPERHUNTER-A Noisy Cam
1 of 1 found this helpful CONS:
I have two SUPERHUNTER cams and both of the IR Lenses stick a bit causing the cameras to make a loud noise when first turned on or, changing from day to night/night to day. Aside from this the photos are here and there in quality. Nice sometimes-not so nice at other times. The Anti Blur business isn't really working on either cam. You have to take the camera down from the tree to remove the SD Card or the batteries will fall out when you open the bottom. The open/closure button is a real pain to operate.
PROS:
This camera has a lot of settings to customise the camera. The body of the camera is a nice size. The sensitivity is bang on and catches all the action and mostly centre framing it. The controls are all on the outside so you really can do everything from the outside of the camera. Just pop in an SD Card and batteries. Close the cover. You're done on the inside. Pictures when good are clear with night time photos even better than the day photos. That was a surprise! The battery life is amazing. It even does well on rechargeable batteries. I am giving this 3 stars due to the noise (which the critters really didn't mind as I received lots of photos for my howtotrailcam blog) as well as the sketchiness of the good/bad alternating photos. This camera is overpriced at $100 even with shipping+taxes included in that price. The camera does capture a lot of photos and is better than most at placing the subject in the centre of the frame. For the most part, the camera works, it just doesn't work well enough for the price. I guess in the end, I get more photos but with alternating clarity. That kind of makes me feel good about the camera in the overall scheme. Hope this helps.

Nice Trail Camera
2 of 2 found this helpful This is a great trail camera with lots of settings. The best part is probably the 8 MP CMOS. Most cams interpolate from a 3 or 5 MP CMOS. The rest of the MP in trail cams are interpolated from these numbers. Bottom line? Higher the CMOS the better the photos. This will also take 3 photos within one second. I have had no problems with this camera in day or night mode. The camera will run off of 4 or 8 AA batteries depending on how long you want the camera to run. Here's a few....

Work Well
Great resistors that serve the purpose. Easy to solder and would purchase again if need be.
