Odd title, since it was hardly a story focal point .

I felt like the end was "quickly pu to bed". Everything just ended...boom. The Scarpetta character acted stupidly and childish for all the brains she is supposed to have. One could see the "fisherman reeling her in from the beginning of the book". I felt like there must be some grand reason for such foolish behavior on the parts of all the characters. High school emotions all around.
