more power than car vac
Got this and the light canon for my boat. It uses the same batteries as my power tools, so batteries and charger are already on the boat. It has a lot more power than ordinary car vac.

Folds Down Very Small
I had two of these for handycams and just bought two more. I like the way they collapse down very small and then open to be as tall as I am. Of course this means that each section is short and I frequently need to adjust the length of the legs but this is unavoidable if you want it to fold down into such a compact size. They are adequate for my full frame DSLR most of the time. I do have heavier tripods for the DSLR but these are so convenient when packing that I usually leave the big tripods behind.

Makes focus much easier and accurate
I like that the magnification makes it much easier to focus and focus is more accurate. Remember that if your camera has a touchscreen, it will be impossible to reach unless you flip this magnifier up every time.
