Great for small jobs (WEAR EYE AND HEARING PROTECTION)
6 of 8 found this helpful Make sure to get the DeWalt branded chain saw oil and fill your well before trying it out. Some YouTube videos suggest vegetable oil - DO NOT DO THAT! The instructions in the pamphlet are not easy to follow nor do they provide enough information. You will need to watch several YouTube videos on safety and usage first. Otherwise the product is excellent. It is built for smaller jobs. Don't expect to get out there and cut down a 70 foot pine! If a tree goes down because of a storm, you can easily use this thing to take the limbs down while waiting for a pro to come with proper equipment to dispose of the rest of the tree. It is easy to get overconfident with this thing because of the size. IT IS STILL A CHAIN SAW. Be careful - wearing eye protection is a must.

Very long battery life but slower than expected.
Solid design with the durability expected from Lenovo. This 14-inch road warrior boots extremely fast but tends to be sluggish when opening multiple apps immediately after booting. Some functions within Office tend to be on par or a little slower as compared with with similar operations on my Dell Latitude 5450. I think this is more likely due to the the OS (WIn10Pro versus Win7Pro). This machine has only two cores, so that certainly contributes to the lack of speed, but at the end of the day it is overall acceptable as far as performance goes.
I don't notice too much heat being generated but I do tend to be concerned about the location of the fan vents (which is underneath the body). Because of this, you should be careful about leaving the machine running on a bed or working with the unit on a pillow to prop it up as you're working.
The touch pad does not have separate buttons for right and left click on the bottom. Instead you simply push on the touch pad - this is 'fine" but for my constant usage of right click functions, this isn't my favorite thing.
The long battery life seems to be due to no back-lighting of the keyboard. I am still getting used to no back-lighting when working in darkened environments. I guess I have to polish my touch-typing skills.
The screen resolution is fine for working and for viewing youtube. I am not terribly picky - the clarity is fine. (I wear x2 readers for my presbiopia so I might not be the best judge on screen.) But the brightness is adequate and sharpness and contrast are suitable for what I need the computer for. Not a touch screen so some functions of Win 10 Pro can't be leveraged.
The case is very susceptible to finger prints and hand prints. I find myself wiping the case often (my OCD). Only three USB ports... I can only get the USB 3.0 to recharge external devices. The HDMI port works magnificently.
Range on the WiFi is not the best and certainly not the fastest, but once again this could be my house (where I need to upgrade my router and repeaters).
Overall... this machine is a superior choice for balancing cost with performance and durability for a work computer for typical Office usage under Win 10 Pro. If I had to do it again, I may have spent double for a 15 inch machine with a superior clock speed, but I would have given up a lot on portability and battery live.

Gotr this thing!
As a blu-ray/dvd player it is fine. It does the job with a small footprint and low energy usage. If you use it for the onboard apps (netflix and youtube) it can lag significantly. Also - it can overflow its buffer and you have to hard-restart it to clear its memory. DO I recommend? Yes. It is a blu-ray/DVD player... it is not a replacement for... say... an XBox (which I previous used as my primary entertainment device)... but it does the job well. I wish it would allow for screen sharing with my iPad - that is totally NOT happening. If it allowed screen sharing form Apple devices, I would *INSIST* all of you buy this thing instantaneously! But again... as a $50 blu-ray/dvd player... it is much more than an exceptional device for THAT purpose.
