Works fine after some head scratching, acquiring a saddle valve, and a couple trips to the hardware store.
2 of 2 found this helpful The unit is generally well made, but I noted some problems, all of which I was able to overcome:
1. The dimensions were wrong. (Not really an issue, but the main unit is 4+ inches less than the 9" deep they say.)
2. The 1/4" plastic tubing that came with it works for push-in connections on the outside diameter, but not for connections involving the inside diameter. (The inside diameter is smaller than standard American 1/4" tubing. For example, when using an insert in the tubing for a 1/4" compression fitting, it is a very hard fit and it expands the tubing so the ferrule won't fit. I finally had to buy American 1/4" tubing to complete some of the connections. -- Only a problem if you are connecting to your refrigerator/ice maker.)
3. The unit does not come with a saddle valve/clamp which is required to install the unit properly and isn't readily available locally.
4. The faucet/spigot metal delivery tube works, but seems loose and apparently can't be tightened.
5. There is no warranty, except for a 30 day return policy.
