Very Limited Utility
2 of 2 found this helpful i bought this to do away with hob lighters that eventually required a gas refill. I thought this device would serve the same function as the hob's installed spark generator which had stopped working.
Basically, this doesn't work. It does not seem powerful enough to overcome the effect of the unlit gas flow. Even turning the gas to minimum setting first does not guarantee ignition.
I can work with the foibles of most devices and get something out of them but this is not fit for purpose. After my wife got a couple of explosive type ignitions with too much unlit adjacent gas after many unsuccessful clicks, we gave up and resumed the use of matches.
