This linseed oil is going to be put on some unfinished planters which will eventually be full of vegetable plants. This oil, since it is not boiled, should be food safe, so it won't leach into the soil and make anyone poisoned. Since the planters are cedar this oil should protect the planters, which will be sitting on bricks for support.
