Good choice for your 1st digital camera. Or even your 2nd one!
This SVP XThinn 5.1MP Digital Camera is my first product from the company. For the money it seems an excellent product that takes surprisingly clear pictures even in fairly low light, which is what I bought it for. I presently own a Fujifilm S3100, made in the early 2000's, whose low-light capabilities come nowhere near the more modern SVP unit. Now keep in mind that the Xthinn 1056 was not advertised as a low-light camera --- it's ISO selection is only 100 and 200, when the switch isn't set to Auto. But it still performs better-than fair even when you don't have a dozen industrial-grade searchlights trained on your subject. Though it may seem a tad light on features and options for seasoned digital photographers, the case can be made that the bells and whistles it does have are the ones that eighty percent of consumers will actually use. But something that might've been nice to have was an optical zoom; this camera doesn't have one. For general photography, this camera offers most of what you need to get the job done, and actually have some fun doing it.

For the money, you can't lose
I haven't "deployed' it yet, but this seems well-made, and a lot of product for the money.

Smart appearance and built to last
Wooden handle scales have nice color and green. Every other part of the knife is brushed stainless steel including the holsters. These knives with the bone another natural handle materials might look nice, but you only drop 'em once. On this knife there's nothing to break or shatter, and perhaps more importantly, nothing to not-like.
Blade came razor sharp out of the box --- something you almost never see anymore --- and has helped its edge well. And back spring is no slouch either, has the knife closes with substantial authority.
Although I can see it being a problem to handle for people with large hands, for the money you just can't go wrong.
