One of my favorite JT albums
I bought this album not only because it's one of my favorite albums, but because i'm currently on a vinyl kick. Sounds great on the turntable and arrived brand new as described. I also own the CD/Digital copy of this album, so the vinyl doesn't play straight through obviously, but split evenly over 2 records/4 sides.
I admit that it is a different and uniquely enjoyable experience hearing it on vinyl because you get that 'warm' record sound, the pops and crackles, and a fullness that you don't quite get from a digital copy. Especially, this is apparent if you have a decent turntable.
This is one of the rare LPs produced in the last 20 years where I can listen from beginning to end so it's great to be able to sit by the record player, flip the record over, and enjoy it straight through. I've long been a fan of Timbaland and he was the writer producer for all but 2 songs on this album. I feel like J.T. and Timbaland work extremely well together. I'll likely look into purchasing all of J.T.'s albums on vinyl.
Worth what I paid for this? Sure. Average album sales seem to be between the $20-$30 range. I paid less than this but it would be worth it to me to pay anywhere in that range if that was all that was available. If you're a J.T./Timbaland fan and are getting back into vinyl, this should definitely be part of your collection!

The beginnings of LaFace!!!
Earlier days of Babyface and LA Reid before they became mega-producers in the late 80s- 90s R&B scene. This has been one of my favorite albums when I first started listening to music and the first taste of Babyface's writing style. The original version of "Two Occasions" opens this joint and the nostalgia of hearing it on vinyl makes it even that much better! It follows with the timeless "Shoot 'Em Up Movies" and doesn't end there. Remaining tracks: Let No One Separate Us, Eyes Of A Stranger, Can U Dance, She Wanted, Hip Chic, So Many Thangz.
In this renaissance of vinyl and records, I feel this is one of those gems that everyone in my generation who enjoyed the Babyface sound should own!
