Just what I wanted
I tried it the first day I got it and it does it work. Nothing to be worried about not being able to carry its load. Plan to make good use of the cord.

Could be a bit better
When fully extended it bends a little to much so you can't get a really good back scratch, but if you extend it half way then you get more strength to the rod. Besides this drawback it does give you a really good back scratch.

Very striking and versatile
It's just the right size to tote my plate lunches from the take out counter to my kitchen counter. I also use it for my grocery purchases and it does hold a lot of items. Now that we have to provide our own bags this comes in handy with my other tote bags, plus its insulated which is a real plus when I buy ice cream and other refrigerated items.
