When you don't need everything on a phone.
I you are not in a HS data/cell network, working with these wifi devices have some value. So far the axim x51v is preforming without problems. It excepted my GR-271 GPS CF card, and it's working with google maps.
Thus far, the PDA will fit into my techno plans.

a case
The flexibility to modify the padding is what I needed. The molded outside case tolerance did not get molded completely. But it is a case and will get taped up over time, so it is more about the price point then imperfect outside molded case.
