Italian : Learn to Speak and Understand Italian with Pimsleur Language...

Learning basic tourist Italian.

The Pimsleur method for learning a language is very effective. I have used it to brush up on my Spanish, and also to learn some basic Russian before traveling there. This Italian language learning program holds to the same high level of effectiveness. I have an Italian friend who tells me that the pronunciation I am using (as a result of this program) is very good.

You can't go home again.

I bought this DVD because I loved this hilarious show when I watched it in my early 20s. The show came on Monday - Friday at 11:00 p.m. in our market area, and I would always be sure to be home by then so I could watch it. A surprise to me has been that the joke timing has been thrown off without the commercial pauses. I haven't yet watched the entire DVD, but so far it has not amused me nearly as much as it did when I was younger. Maybe when I get further into the episodes, I will once again find the hilarity I remember.
