Gorgeous IQ, worth the price
1 of 1 found this helpful This lens makes it worth switching to the entire new system just by itself. Paired it with the R and wow is it good. Newborn shots are incredible, and the mirrorless system not needing Micro AF adjustment is spectacular.
Pros:
IQ is out of control (so good).
With new RF system, much easier to nail the focus (compared to my experience with an 85 1.2 and a 5d3)
Bokeh is gorgeous
AF is much better (faster and more accurate) than EF 1.2's (50 and 85)
Cons:
HEAVY. The lens weighs more than the R by itself. Am considering getting the grip just for this lens and for balance
It's larger than the EF equivalent, but that was expected given the amount of glass in this lens.
Conclusion: once again, it's worth dealing with the quibbles of the RF system just for this lens alone. That's crazy high praise.

Pretty much like new. All five worked beautifully, good torque, optics are clear. Recommended

Works great, way better than buying from Schein
