Arrived today, charged battery and waited for darkness. Easy to use, relative simple interface. Good mode selection and it has memory of the last setting. Strobe is super fast and turbo mode is bright but the light gets really hot. Hot enough to burn you and maybe set your clothing or backpack on fire. Make sure you use the lockout mode. Very bright flood light. Don’t expect any long range illumination. I’m guessing the numbers they claim are based on reflective targets. I do like the rechargeable battery but will likely use the cr123 option and give up the turbo mode by default. It is a keeper due to its novelty size more than its performance.
