This knife is not for the faint of heart. At 12 & 1/4 inches open, this thing is a beast. Maybe not your typical e.d.c, but that depends on your own personal preference. The Demko thumb plate works flawlessly. With a little practice you'll be able to deploy this knife as soon as it leaves your pocket. I've noticed that the auto deploy works best with jeans. I've tried chef pants, sweat pants and dress pants, no luck. But if you're wearing jeans and you draw this knife it will deploy instantly. Rugged construction. Nice AUS 10A steel. Along with the ultra safe Triad locking system, this knife is a versatile choice for camping, work, or combat.
