Great little lantern
This is exactly what I expected. We used to use these lamps in Calcutta when I was young - load shedding was a common occurrence and power would routinely go out, we would use these for everyday light. Not bright enough to do fine detailed work, but definitely bright enough to light a dark room and see your way about. Get the gallon jug of lamp oil instead of the quart bottle: you will use these more than you think! If you decide to hang it, make sure you have at least 18” of space from any combustible material on all sides
