Norge
My Admiral (Norge) Gas dryer is 32 years old and still working; 10 loads a week.
Norge was part of Fetters A/C years ago. They were purchased by Magic Chef in the 60's. Magic Chef had already taken over Admiral. Norge manufactured top quality laundry products under the names "Norge", "Admiral", "Magic Chef" and Montgomery Ward's Time Saver". They were Maytag's biggest competition in the market place. In 1985, Maytag bought out Magic Chef and shut down Norge....
Kinda poetic that when Whirlpool finally bought Maytag, Newton Iowa became a ghost town.

The price was only half that of Lowes and it included shipping; can't beat that.

No need to tear open a wall
It eliminates the need for additional house wiring. Allows for the installation of an additional remote switch to operate lighting.
