Good alternative to overpriced stock pump

This fuel pump seems to work well in my application. I have a 2003 Suzuki SV1000s and installed this pump expecting the worst. To my surprise, it seems to be as good as the stock pump ever was. At first I was apprehensive because of the Made in China sticker right on the package, however, it was explained to me that these pumps are assembled in china from components made in Japan. Whether this is the case or not, the unit hasn't missed a beat since installation which at this point is only a couple of days. The initial sound of the pump when turning the key was a little alarming as it is quite a bit louder than stock. Also, I can hear the pump whining away while the bike is running. This being said, if you can live with the noise difference, this is appears to be a good, cheap replacement for those with a little mechanical aptitude. There were many extra parts sent that cover other models that I will never use and the filter that was included for my model did not fit the pump inlet. Installing the pump required splicing wires together which I wasn't real excited about (more places for failure). Other than that, time will tell. Hop[efully this pump will last the 15 years that the stock unit did.

Just what I wanted. Very portable size with great sound. I don't need larger and louder anymore. Just simple, solid reliability with crisp sound. I'm impressed with this little speaker, just like I was with the charge 3 and 4. They just keep getting better. Thanks!
