    obviously focused on competitive freediving
first off just to let you know,,there is no magic breathhold technique in the book to suddenly increase your breathhold time...there are some stretches and exercises to help but nothing super eye opening to a simple "layman" diver/spearfisher that goes out recreationaly. I would compare it to reading a book on how to drive and maintain a NASCAR race car when your only trying to learn to change the oil in your old car. very interesting chapter on diving history and people and geared to indepth training for competitive freediving. I spearfish and will take any info I come across, but it is a pretty technical book with heavy leaning on the human body/biology and explaining how it works. the first few chapters basically are a biology book of the human body, which kinda bored me.. No doubt I learned stuff from the book but reading it felt like having an olympic athlete trying to explain what I can do to run 5mph faster... if you were a beginning diver this would probably be too advanced since there is only a few sentences about things most of us active divers would be expected to already know. There is just a few sentences about mask, snorkels, belts, etc and it is info we already know(i.e. "a mask should be low volumn").. definately worth getting for the indepth biological info, but pretty dull reading for the average spearfisher/diver.
United Cutlery Self Defense 2 Tip T Grip Staff Cane Walking Stick 37" UC3177 New
    Aug 28, 2017
    Works well and sturdy
I use canes so I have collected many...Canemaster, most all the cold steels, homemade canes, custom made ebony sticks, etc...I got the united cutlery hook cane and liked it enough I thought I would give this T handle a try....I am happy with it as a defensive cane but it honestly just looks strange as a cane....it is a bit thicker then the hook version but the strange ridges on the cane shaft just look weird as a cane....if they would have just put hand grips the whole length it would have looked better....it is a tough cane and will work but it just looks to halloweenish to use to much as a day to day cane....I do like solid defense canes when I travel out of the US but I would remove the hammer head points since it just looks to obvious....I usually like a more elegant style cane so not sure if I will use this too much...for the price well worth having though....I like united cutlerys plastic better then cold steels..cold steels seems to bend slightly easier....also just so you know the shaft mold on the T handle has an ever so slight angled offset...I ordered two at the same time and both have exact same bent angle so it is the mold that was off...normally Im kinda anal about that stuff but it didnt bother me on this cane for some reason so dont freak out thunking you got a warped cane...it is very slight angle anyway...if they would do a smidge smaller diamater model without all the handgrips it wud be nice....one nice thing is that the end of the cane is thinner diameter under the crappy plastic tip...this is nice in that the cane can use a smaller diameter replacement tip so it keeps the bottom of cane sleeker looking...of course if you need a shorter cane and cut the cane then you would need the bigger tips...
Everly Star Guitar Picks 12 Pack .50mm Super Grip Red

Didnt like the star cutout like I thought I would
This is only my limited use take on the cut out design, but I found that for me the pick seemed to rotate around my piched fingers since there is a cut out there...I was interested to give them a go and was actually excited about the design since in concept it made sense and as a bonus i thought it would be nice to keep picks "tied" onto the guitar with a small wire bread tie...turns out that the area with the cutout is where i subconsiously pinch the pick and i noticed the pick would move around more then I liked...I am sure with use and maybe different holds it has potential but for me it just isnt my thing...I will keep them for an emergency or backup pick since the cutout works great as a way to attach it someplace on the guitar i stead of the normal bulky pick holders, but the cutout just didnt do it for me..
