Perfect small saw for wood too!
Absolutely awesome..
Very light and ergonomic.. Easy to use/ position and follow the cut straight all the way through.
Came with a nice storage bag, wrench and metal blade. There is also a small Allen wrench built on the wrench to remove the blade.
I have a 5.0 red Lithium battery (not included) .. And it does very well with it. Have cut alot of 2x4 and 2x10 and ripped quite a bit of 1/2" plywood sheets.
It is a metal saw.. So the rpm is around 3,900rpm.. It's a little less than a standard wood saw.. But I think it has more torque. I removed the included metal blade and installed a Diablo 36 tooth wood blade accidentally bought the Diablo with 10mm arbor hole.. But a simply opened it out to 20mm (saw has 20mm arbor). It does fantastic.
I haven't cut metal with it yet.. But I have read people have done very well.. Even with 1" rigid sch40 pipe
The small LED Light comes on when you press the trigger lock.. So it's nice when you want to position it for the cut.. You don't have to bump cycle the blade to spin for the light to come on.
I have recommended this saw to everyone. I plan on using it primarily for sheet metals which is why I bought it.. But I'm glad it has a dual purpose and works very well.
I believe the cut depth with the 5-3/8 blade is about 2"..but you can use up to a 5-7/8 blade for slightly deeper cuts.
Milwaukee FUEL is king.. All of their lineup that I own is awesome.
I bought mine from Nailgunaccesories1 seller here on ebay.. Best price and fast communication/shipping.
