By Far the Best Coffee Maker I've had

I've purchased various coffee makers over the years, including some that were much more expensive (double the price)all with poor function design. This coffee maker isn't the most attractive one out there (with all the switches) but don't let that sway you. I love the all black model. It's durable, like the features, makes good coffee (I've never had the version with the coffee grinder attached, but I've heard from someone who has that and they didn't like that feature). I just purchased my second one. When my first one died, it was a loss! Luckily found the same model on eBay and quickly ordered it. Works great. One small issue - if you make a full 12 cups. I use quite a few scoops since I like a robust flavor (stronger). If you use 10 scoops or more in the filter (I use a paper filter with the gold filter), the grounds will "overflow" some, gets on the lid where the water comes down. We found a solution if we are making that much coffee. I cut a small circle out of a filter (make sure it's smaller then the top of the coffee grounds (you can see grounds around the circle)and place it on top of the grounds (which I always pat down). That seems to take care of the problem.
