Verify assembly before use
Get what you pay for. Did a fine job for me. I drilled a total of 5ea. 1-3/8” diameter holes in the ¼” thick web of a wide flange I-beam. I selected the drill because of its small size. I had to work in some tight spaces (14-1/2” x 7-1/4”) and this drill accomplished the job. Overall assembly was sloppy. I found loose gib adjustment screws and 2 loose screws on the drill-motor housing. I recommend thoroughly examining the drill before use and taking a few practice cuts before going to the job. I was operating the drill on its side using a squirt bottle for cutting fluid and it worked fine. I wish the crank-handle could be switched to the opposite side easily and quickly. I do not know if changing sides with some disassembly and reassembly is possible but I think it is. Owner’s “manual” is useless just some sort of probably computer translated gibberish. Manual is really not needed but it would be nice to have an assembly diagrams and parts list. I don’t have any serious complaints. Good drill for a bargain price. Love the rugged shipping packaging it was needed.

read before taking generator to the "authorized" Honda shop
Any sort of visit to an authorized Honda shop in my area would cost a min of $250 and add in official Honda parts and it will cost a ton of money. With this manual, a few tools, and some common sense, you can trouble-shoot and fix about any problem. And if like me you are using this in a remote location the manual is essential for self sufficiency.

razor sharp, cuts I beam web like butter
Used this in Mag drill to drill 5 holes in 1/4" thick web of a wide flange I beam. No problems. Not sure why competitors cost 2 to 3 times as much.
