Hoover WindTunnel Air Lightweight Bagless Upright Vacuum (Certified Refurbished)

reliable , powerful and lightweight vacuum

I've had several of these vacuums and they perform reliably for me in my cleaning business. Plus: vacuum is lightweight and maintains it's suction power even when the canister is full. It's versatile and works on wood floors as well as carpeting. The brush roller automatically stops when the vacuum is in the upright position which eliminates the annoying issue I've had with other vacuums of either sucking up the power cord or some other unintended item close to the vacuum. The light weight makes the vacuum easier to use on stairs than some other vacuums. Minus's: The adjustable handle has started malfunctioning in all 4 of this brand of vacuum within about 2 months of using it. The vacuum itself still works it's just more challenging to use if you can't adjust the height of the handle. A major problem with emptying the canister is that it seldom empties all the way by itself. You then need to disassemble the canister and try to get the rest of the debris out of it. I have a lot of customers with pets and that hair seldom comes out of the canister without a fight. If you have allergies this could be a major problem for you as the dust and dander can get everywhere. The brush roll on this vacuum also gets a build up of pet and human hair and needs to be cleaned about once a week.

Poorly made part

My complaint with this handle is that it only functions as it as designed for a short time. Within a few months it won't hold the adjustment you set it at and ceases working all together after that. I like the Hoover Vacuum it is designed for and I just wish they had made the handle more durable. That is a pretty critical part of this vacuum and creates lots of hassles for me when it doesn't work like it should.

Works well for tendonitis

I have reoccurring tendonitis in both my wrists and I find these gloves help support my wrists when they start to get sore. They seem to enable to do more with my hands without making the tendonitis get any worse. I've used them for several years now and wouldn't be with out them. I ordered more of them so that I could throw them in the wash when they get dirty and allow them to air dry. I have a acreage and a cleaning business so my hands get a constant workout from dawn to dusk.
